He studied music at University of Washington College of Music.
By the age of twenty he was a member of the Seattle Symphony
Orchestra, also performing with jazz and rock groups. Moving to
London in 1970, he became involved with London’s contemporary
dance community, writing music for independent choreographers,
dance companies, performance and film.
